Number of Victims Will ‘Probably Grow' in Nationwide Rideshare Fraud Scheme

Federal prosecutors say the scheme ran from January 2019 through at least April, and involved the use of more than 2,000 stolen identities. But that number will probably grow, Acting U.S. Attorney Nathaniel Mendell said.
