School Bus Driver Shortage Posing Major Problems in Boston

This all happened in the middle of the afternoon… In a busy area… And in front of multiple surveillance cameras. Take a look at this surveillance video from a tow truck. Eyewitnesses say it shows a man firing several shots into a Honda accord… Killing a man in his 30-s. The bullets also blew out the driver’s side window. Just seconds later… Another surveillance camera caught that same masked man running on Washington street… Before turning onto school street and disappearing. This all happened just before -3- o’clock yesterday… Near egleston square in Jamaica plain. We talked with a woman who owns a salon near where the deadly shooting happened. She told us she knew the victim… And his wife. {rosana Rivera/knew victim} “we heard the commotion, the shooting. And we started running to the back and asked one of the kids to lock the door and everybody on the floor. We didn’t know what was going on.” {Rachael Rollins/Suffolk county district attorney} “this is a middle-of-the-day, brazen shooting. This is a vibrant community. Hard working people work here, and they deserve to be safe.” Police believe the shooter targeted the victim. At this point… They still haven’t made any arrests in the case.
