At the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the courtyard garden is as much the attraction as the art itself. But how do you grow a garden inside the heart of a building? Our Jackie Bruno has the uniquely Boston story of the gardener of the Gardner. Meet Stan Kozak, the museum’s chief horticulturalist. He started working at the museum back in 1970 when he was just 17 years old and says he’ll keep working as long as he’s healthy.
