Mass. Lawmakers Voting to Undo English-Only Education

There’s a long-standing debate about teaching English to non-English-speaking children. Some feel their young brains are wired to learn languages quickly in an immersion environment, but others say that while it is true of some students, it can backfire for others struggling to learn history or science in a language they don’t yet understand.
