Matt DeLucia

Matt DeLucia is a reporter and anchor at NBC10. He covers breaking news from the NBC10 Live Center, and community stories that highlight the best of our region.

Matt joined NBC10 in 2013 and has covered several major events, including the Amtrak train derailment in 2015, the papal visit, Villanova's NCAA championships, and trips to the Super Bowl.

"Journalism offers a front-row seat to history. Every day presents a new challenge and adventure in storytelling," Matt said.

Before arriving at NBC10, Matt was a reporter and anchor in Las Vegas, Nevada. He also spent time in Massachusetts, Maryland, and at the former New Jersey Network.

Matt has been awarded 20 regional Emmys®, including several for outstanding general assignment and feature reporting in the Mid-Atlantic region. He produced and hosted Matt Tries That, a segment spotlighting unique jobs and hobbies, which received a 2025 Telly Award. He has also been honored with regional RTDNA Edward R. Murrow Awards for Excellence in Innovation, and Excellence in Writing.

Matt grew up in Cherry Hill, N.J., and is a graduate of Camden Catholic High School. He earned his bachelor's degree in communication from La Salle University. He also holds a weather forecasting certificate from Penn State, and an MBA from Villanova University, with specializations in marketing, strategic management, and analytics.

Matt's time with NBC dates back to 2006, when he was a production assistant during the Olympic Games in Torino, Italy. Matt and his family live in South Jersey.
