Monica Madeja is an Emmy-award winning veteran reporter and anchor at NBC10 Boston. She joined the team in June 2015.
She has covered some of the most impactful stories in Boston, including snowstorms, the Boston Marathon and highs and lows across the country — from Super Bowl LII to reporting from Las Vegas after the nation’s largest mass shooting.
She is a native of Pennsylvania and worked as a reporter and anchor in Northeastern Pennsylvania at WBRE/WYOU, where she reported on historic flooding, earned an Emmy nomination and helped create the region’s first ever-lifestyle show.
She began her television career as a reporter and anchor in Missouri. She first got behind a professional mic as a radio reporter and anchor in Delaware after graduating from Temple University.
Volunteering has always been a passion, and she values working with a mentor program for youth impacted by foster care. An animal lover on land and sea, Monica enjoys spending time with her husband and son and showing their shelter dogs the best adventures in New England.
