Thea DiGiammerino is an award-winning journalist and digital content creator with more than a decade of experience covering local news in New England, including stories such as the Karen Read trial, the migrant shelter crisis in Massachusetts, and the disappearance of Jennifer Dulos in Connecticut.
Before joining the NBC10 Boston team in 2022, she worked for NBC Connecticut (WVIT-TV) in West Hartford as a digital producer and assignment editor. Her work on the state of mental health support during the COVID-19 pandemic won a regional Emmy Award.
She earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from Boston University's College of Communication in 2014.
