Tom E. Curran has been covering the Patriots and the NFL since 1997.
After five years writing for local papers around New England including The Barnstable Patriot, The Claremont (N.H.) Eagles Times and The Waltham News Tribune, Curran first began covering the Patriots for the MetroWest Daily News in 1997. In 2002, Curran went to The Providence Journal.
When NBC launched Sunday Night Football and Football Night in America in 2006, Curran was hired to cover the league for NBCSports.com. After four years there as an NFL insider and general columnist, Curran joined NBC Sports Boston in 2009.
His weekly show Quick Slants launched in 2010 and has enjoyed sustained success. He also hosts the bi-weekly Tom Curran's Patriots Talk Podcast alongside Phil Perry and is a regular contributor to WEEI, The Dan Patrick Show, The Rich Eisen Show and Pro Football Talk.
Curran grew up in Pembroke, Mass. and graduated from Saint Anselm College in 1989 with a degree in English.
