Patriots Fans Rally Team in Foxboro Ahead of Super Bowl LII

New England Patriots fans once again rallied for their team ahead of Sunday's Super Bowl against the Philadelphia Eagles.

On Saturday, two different rallies were held in Foxboro — the first one on the town common at 10 a.m.

Fans were encouraged to sport their favorite Patriots gear because the rally was being filmed and sent to the Patriots.

Die-hard fan "Silverbullet" said every year, every game, he dresses up decked in Patriots gear and silver face paint to support the team.

"Just dedication, you know what I mean, to support the boys to let them know I'm there," said Silverbullet. "The funny thing is that what has amazed me through the years is that the players want a picture with me."

He says people who aren't Patriots fans may be tired of their success, but folks in New England appreciate the empire Robert Kraft and the team, have built.

"Through the good and the bad and the thing is right now we get to enjoy the good because we been through a lot of bad. We've been through defeats of two Super Bowl's before we won our first and then two Super Bowl's in between," Silverbullet said.

Events included poster making and music by Massachusetts Sen. Paul Feeney, also known as DJ Feeney.

Those who attended were extremely excited about watching Sunday's big game.

"It's very exciting very nerve-racking you know I'm nervous hoping they can pull it off but I bet they will," said fan Janelle McNamara.

Later in the day at Patriot Place, the "Big Game Rally" was being held from 3-5 p.m. outside Splitsville Luxury Lanes and Skipjack’s to get fans ready for Sunday.

The free event was featuring a DJ, appearances by Pat Patriot and the Patriots End Zone Militia. There was also going to be a petting zoo with goats, face painting, and balloon twisting.

On Monday, a slew of fans attended The Not Done Super Bowl LII Send-Off Rally at the NRG Plaza outside The Hall at Patriot Place. Members of the Patriots were in attendance before team buses departed for T.F. Green airport in Providence for Minnesota.

The Patriots will seek their sixth Super Bowl title when they face the Eagles on Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
