Cooler Temperatures Arrive Ahead of Gradual Warming Trend

A gorgeous stretch of weather will set up this week and will continue through the weekend.

A cool pool of air Tuesday will bring below normal high temperatures to New England with highs in the 60s. Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning may also bring in more clouds for the coast as well as a couple of sprinkles.

Our temperatures remain cooler than normal in the 60s for Wednesday. Then we will have a gradual warming trend over the next few days. Low 70s can be expected for Thursday, mid-70s for Friday, then we hop into summer-like highs in the low 80s both Saturday and Sunday.

We keep the forecast dry for this weekend too. Monday is when astronomical fall begins and this is when we will see our next chance for rain. More specifically Monday night into Tuesday, for the rain chance.

Highs will be in the low 80s for the first day of fall, then we cool to the 70s for the end of the 10-day.
