Mainly Dry, Pleasant Weekend

Rain will make a return late Monday

Saturday: Mostly sunny. Highs in the 60s and 70s. Saturday Night: Partly cloudy. Lows in the 40s and 50s. Sunday: Partly cloudy. Highs in the 60s.

Our weekend looks to stay mainly dry. There could be a shower in northern New England with a weak disturbance moving through this morning. The remainder of the weekend will be quiet.

Today will be the warmer of the two weekend days, while Sunday will be the brighter of the two weekend days.

If you’re planning a trip to check out the fall foliage, you need to go pretty far north. We are seeing moderate amounts of color north of Bangor, Maine and low color is the Green and White Mountains. It will take a few more weeks before we see peak conditions.

Rain will make a return late Monday as a warm front tries to lift north. Temperatures will reach the 60s Monday with some sunshine before the rain returns. Flooding is possible after the significant amount of rain we’ve received the last couple of weeks.

Unsettled weather will continue from Monday night through Friday. Temperatures should consistently climb into the 70s next week.
