Nathalia Da Paixao's death is the second investigated in Concord, N.H. in as many days

Police have arrested the husband of a woman who was stabbed to death in Concord, New Hampshire.

Emerson Jaques Figueiredo, 42, was arrested and charged with second degree murder on Sunday. His wife, Nathalia Da Paixao, was found outside a Concord apartment complex with several stab wounds, police said. She later died at Concord Hospital.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday. Figueiredo will likely be arraigned Monday in Merrimack County Superior Court, according to police.

The arrest is the second one made in connection to a death investigation in Concord in as many days.

Joseph King Hanright, 29, was arrested without incident at 1:30 a.m. Sunday and is charged with being a fugitive from justice. He was wanted for questioning in the stabbing death of 64-year-old Marshall John Vellenueve. Hanright has not been charged with anything related to that case.
