How Much Snow Fell in Your Area?

Some New Englanders were digging out Saturday from heavy snowfall, while others saw little more than an inch or two, after snow fell across the region.

More than a foot of snow fell in parts of Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine during the late-winter storm that arrived Friday night into Saturday morning, bringing a mix of snow, rain and sleet.

Hundreds of businesses were closed, many flights were canceled and some bus service was suspended. The heavy, wet snow was accompanied by winds gusting to 40 to 50 mph, raising concerns about toppled trees and power outages, said meteorologist Jon Palmer with the National Weather Service in Maine.
