Antes de unirse a Telemundo Nueva Inglaterra, Mercedes París trabajó de productora en el programa Al Punto de Univisión.
Desde 2016 se desempeñó como reportera de Univisión en Miami- florida, cubriendo especialmente las fuentes de política, comunidad y sucesos.
Mercedes París también trabajo de reportera, productora y corresponsal internacional en Venezuela para RCTV, donde se formó como periodista integral en sus más de 13 años de experiencia en medios impresos, radiales y audiovisuales.
París, ha recibido diversos premios y reconocimientos durante su trayectoria periodística, entre los que destacan la orden del “Buen Comunicador”, en su primera clase por ser defensora de la libertad de expresión en Venezuela, también la orden “Leoncio Martinez” en su segunda clase, por su labor reporteril en función de la comunidad.
En su natal Caracas, Venezuela, Mercedes París obtuvo su licenciatura en Comunicación Social, mención audiovisual en la Universidad Santa María, también realizó cursos de manejo de redes sociales, edición y fotografía.
