Amy Schumer made sure you knew pregnancy was not the reason she tied the knot to husband Chris Fischer, but she didn’t really spill the guts as of why the surprise wedding ceremony… until now.
“I truly cannot wait (sic) another second to be your wife,” said Schumer to Fisher while reading her vows.
In a montage video of the ceremony posted to her Instagram account, the comedian said this was a response to people who were wondering why she “rushed” to the altar. All of that love fest played out to the rhythm of a revamped bluegrass version of “Rainbow Connection,” by The Get Down Boys.
In true Schumer fashion, the “Trainwreck” star even joked about plugging her tour dates to her vows before saying her definite “I love you.”
Schumer and Fisher had publicly gone official just two days prior to the pop-up ceremony, though rumors of lovebirds had been flying around since November.
The couple said "I do" on Feb. 13 in a private ceremony in Malibu, California.
