It finally feels like spring and this weekend’s events certainly have a seasonal feel to them! Friday, April 5
The Greenway Carousel is open for the season. Grab the kiddos and head to the Greenway for a ride on this one-of-a-kind carousel outfitted with animals native to Boston. 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Rose Kennedy Greenway, Boston.
Guided tours take place daily at Harpoon Brewery, giving visitors an up close and personal view of the brewing process. As part of the tour, visitors 21 and over will enjoy a range of freshly-brewed Harpoon and UFO beers. Tours last approximately one hour. Thousands of Easter eggs will fall from the sky today at the 4th Annual Greater Boston Egg Drop event in Dedham. There will be over 35,000 plastic eggs to collect, spread across four age-segmented egg hunts, as well as inflatables, a train ride, a rock wall, outdoor games, pictures with the Easter Bunny, a treasure hunt and more. 1-3 p.m., Barnes Memorial Park, 131 Eastern Ave., Dedham.
