N.H. Inmate Placed on Walkaway Status

Tara Lee Monsante, 40, was last seen Wednesday when she signed out of the Shea Farm Transitional Housing Unit

The New Hampshire Department of Corrections says a female inmate has been placed on walkaway status after failing to return to her transitional housing unit Wednesday night.

Tara Lee Monsante, 40, was last seen Wednesday when she signed out of the Shea Farm Transitional Housing Unit in Concord around 8 a.m.

Monsante signed out to go to work, but did not return at her scheduled time of 7 p.m.

She is serving up to four years for fraudulent use of credit cards and is eligible for parole in May 2016.

She is described as 5'6", 160 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.
