A New Hampshire man looking to organize a "Draw Muhammad" cartoon contest is getting some support from a woman who is no stranger to the controversy.
Pamela Geller, who hosted a similar contest in Texas last month, tells the Boston Herald that she supports the idea.
Jerry DeLemus, a Tea Party activist from Rochester, New Hampshire, said he hopes to host the event in July or August and is planning to have security there. He told the Herald the event is intended as an expression of freedom of speech.
Two gunmen opened fire at Geller's event in Texas and were killed. She was also believed to have been the target of a Boston terror suspect who was killed by police earlier this month.
