Puerto Rican Festival Wraps Up

People of all ages just couldn't stop moving at the parade to close the Puerto Rican Festival of Massachusetts in Boston. They say it's all in their blood.

"We're definitely preparing in the best way to celebrate the nationality of the Puerto Ricans," said one celebrant.

The hot weather, dances and music kept the Puerto Rican flag alive.

"Today is very important for me, and for everybody," shouted Amparo Martinez.

The 47th annual Puerto Rican Parade in Boston is there to remind others about the Hispanic diversity in the country.

"It's history, It's family, unity," explained Nilsa Aponte.

And many people from all states were there to support them.

Even floats like one from Telemundo were more than ready to cheer this crowd.

The parade started by the Hynes Convention Center and traveled all the way to Boston's City Hall, an hour-long spectacle filled with joy and tons of energy.
