A family-style Italian dining spot is on its way to the North End of Boston, and the person behind it is a familiar name in both the sports and food worlds.
According to an article from Eater Boston, Table by Jen Royale is opening on Hanover Street in a former nail salon space, with the restaurant being open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday and brunch on Sundays, while the setup of the place includes a large table for 22 people and several other smaller tables. The fixed-price dinner menu at Table will include bread, two salads, three appetizers, and two main courses along with side dishes, while brunch will include such items as fried dough, chicken and waffles, buttermilk biscuits, and breakfast flatbreads. If all goes as planned, Table could be opening sometime in November.
Jen Royale comes from the world of sports reporting and writing, and she is also a chef who has been on Beat Bobby Flay and The Taste.
The address for this upcoming restaurant in the North End is: Table by Jen Royale, 445 Hanover Street, Boston, MA, 02109. The website for the place is at https://tableboston.com/
