A High School That's Been in Everett for 50 Years is Set to Close

Everett is about to lose a school that's been in the community for half a century.

Pope John XXIII High School will close at the end of this year. Everett City Councilman Michael McLaughlin confirmed the news.

"Yes, sadly after 50 years of educating students and giving countless opportunities to young people to move forward and become successful, Pope John will in fact end its current school for the last year," he said.
