New England

A Perfect June Weekend

Heading to the beach or taking the boat out? Heading to the Boston Pride Parade? Check!

Finally, we have a totally dry, sunny and warm weekend in the forecast across all of New England. High pressure continues to suppress any rain from moving in from the south and west until early next week.

We have highs in the 80s inland and cooler temps on the coastline both Saturday and Sunday. Wave heights will be about 1-2 feet with late afternoon high tides, and water temperatures are running 55-60 degrees.

Monday will be a transition day with increasing clouds and humidity. In Connecticut, we hold off on rain until late Monday when a few showers may sneak in. A system heads in for Tuesday, which will trigger scattered showers and thunderstorms across the northeast.

Temperatures fall to the low to mid 70s by Wednesday with more refreshing, dry air. Another system will move through Thursday into Friday bringing showers and storms.

Good news is that this should move out by Father’s Day weekend.
