A New Hampshire man who was shot by Nashua police last week was arrested on a charge related to the incident.
Justin Contreras was released on $500 cash bail after being charged with one count of criminal threatening.
Police said officers responded to a home on the second floor of 106 Ledge St. on July 26 for a report of a suicidal subject.
Arriving officers found Contreras, who was allegedly armed with a firearm and pointed it at one of the officers. Contreras was then shot by the officer and was treated at a local hospital before being transferred to Massachusetts General Hospital.
After an investigation, officers obtained an arrest warrant for Contreras. He was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on Monday without incident, according to police.
He's due for arraignment at Hillsborough County Superior Court on July 12. It's unclear if he has an attorney.
