A pedestrian was struck by an MBTA bus Thursday afternoon in Malden, Massachusetts.
The crash happened at the intersection of Commercial and Centre streets just after 5 p.m.
After coming into contact with the left front corner of the bus, MBTA Transit Police said the victim was taken to an area hospital to be treated for an ankle injury.
The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
