Police: 2 Men Arrested in Brockton on Fentanyl Charges

The two men allegedly had more than $8,000 cash on them

Brockton police arrested two men on felony fentanyl trafficking charges Friday night. 

Ayoub Boubi, 23, of Arlington and Antonio Martins, 24, of Brockton were arrested and held on $1,000 bail, pending arraignment in Brockton District Court. 

Around 6:30 p.m., officers pulled over a car driving on W. Chestnut Street in Brockton because of an illegal amount of window tint, according to police. 

When officers approached the car, they allegedly found 14 grams of fentanyl and 2 grams of crack cocaine inside the car. Boubit was carrying $1,700 in cash and Martins had more than $6,900 cash on him, police said.
