Students were forced to evacuate their classrooms after an alleged bomb threat Monday morning in Abington, Massachusetts.
Abington High School students and staff were sent to the Frolio School while Abington Middle School students went to Beaver Brook Elementary School. Pre-K students had not yet arrived for class when the evacuation was initiated.

The Abington Police and Fire Departments worked with the Massachusetts State Police Bomb Square to search the buildings.
School administrators were given the all clear to return students to their regular classes around 9 a.m., Superintendent Peter Schafer wrote in a statement posted on the Abington Public Schools Facebook page.

School officials are working with police to determine the origin of the threat and will hold those responsible for the disruption o the school day, Schafer said.
