A man arrested on suspicion of trafficking heroin had two children in his apartment at the time of his arrest.
Lowell Police say that a Kevin Davidson, 31, possibly had cocaine and 33 grams of heroin inside of his apartment, along with a 2-year-old and 5-year-old at the time of his arrest.
Police entered Davidson's home on a search warrant for suspected drug trafficking. Police are not identifying the children.
DCF was notified and has opened an investigation. Davidson will be arraigned in Lowell District Court this morning.
