Red Sox Say Manny Machado Stole Signs During Dodgers' Two-run Rally in Game 2 of World Series

Manny Machado has been called a dirty player. He's been maligned for not hustling. And now the Red Sox say they caught him stealing signs during the Dodgers' two-run rally in Game 2 . . . though they stress he wasn't doing anything illegal.

Machado was on second-base after singling and advancing on a walk to Chris Taylor. Kike Hernandez then came up to bat with the bases loaded.

Throughout the at-bat, Machado was seen making exaggerated motions, seeming to relay both pitch and location to Hernandez. David Price struck out Hernandez on the ninth pitch of the at-bat.

Red Sox pitching coach Dana LeVangie saw Machado, "but when a guy gets a big punchout in that situation and a coach comes out to take a visit...I didn't want to (expletive) with the momentum there because David got a huge strikeout."
