Massachusetts State and local police were called in to investigate a suspicious package at a building in Andover Thursday morning.
Police said the investigation was being conducted inside an elevator at a building on Federal Street and that the bomb squad was called in to help respond.
The package was given the all-clear a short time later and deemed safe.
