Suspects are being sought in connection with an armed home invasion Tuesday morning in Massachusetts, and police say one of the victim's was holding a small child in her lap as her mouth was covered with duct tape when officers responded to the scene.
Taunton police said the incident happened at a multi-family home on Morton Street at about 6:30 a.m.
Officers responded to the home after receiving a report of people being held against their will and possibly at gunpoint. When the arrived at the scene, they located a woman whose mouth was wrapped in duct tape and T-shirts. Police said the woman was holding a small child.
A man was also in the room on his knees with duct tape wrapped around his mouth, according to police.
The victims were not hurt but an undisclosed amount of money was taken from them.
Police said while searching the residence, officers saw multiple people jumping from the windows onto the ground below. Those suspects fled the scene.
Authorities said while searching the residence, two firearms and one magazine were located and seized as evidence.
