Trillium Beer Garden Says Farewell to Roslindale Substation

by Marc Hurwitz

A popular beer garden that debuted in the heart of Boston last summer and was reborn in an historic structure over the winter has shut down, at least for now.

According to an article in The Boston Globe, the Trillium winter beer garden at the Roslindale substation said farewell yesterday, with the post indicating that it plans to return to the Rose Kennedy Greenway this summer. Our sources say that the return of the beer garden to the Greenway is not written in stone as of yet, so stay tuned for more updates as they come in.

Trillium's beer garden in downtown Boston debuted last June and remained on the Greenway until October, while the Roslindale winter beer garden started up in early December. The brewery itself has its headquarters in Boston's Fort Point area, though they will be moving to a new space in Fort Point that will feature a brewery, taproom, restaurant, patio, and rooftop terrace. (Another location of Trillium is in Canton.) The website for Trillium can be found at http://www.trilliumbrewing.com/
