WATCH: 3rd Episode of Tom Brady's New Facebook Documentary

The third installment in a six-part documentary series delving into the personal life of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was released on Facebook on Tuesday.

"Tom vs Time," filmed by Gotham Chopra for Facebook's video platform, Facebook Watch, focuses on the star quarterback preparing for the 2017 season, exploring his battle against time on the gridiron and how he balances his personal life.

The third episode focuses primarily on Brady's offseason work, showing him in Montana 10 weeks before the start of the season, making blueberry smoothies and working out with teammates Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola.

"Your role is only important if the other guys can come up with the plays. We're trying to build something together, and I think we all need to feel like we're all part of the same unit," Brady said.

The video also shows Brady making throws to Edelman and Amendola over the summer.

"For me, getting out here with two of my teammates is invaluable time," he said. "You get a lot of one-on-one time."

"I guess we enjoy each others' company," Edelman added.

In addition to working out and throwing, the three teammates are also shown having fun, playing golf, riding in off-road vehicles and mountain bikes, and just goofing around.

Oh, and there's cursing. Lots of it.

The second half of the video shows Brady watching game film after losing to the Carolina Panthers earlier this season to fall to 2-2 on the season. It then shows how the Patriots won their next four games against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New York Jets, Atlanta Falcons and San Diego Chargers.

"I think 6-2, after the way it started, is decent," he said. "Football's never easy."

The video closes with Brady and his daughter Vivian snuggling on the couch as he heads into the bye week.

Brady's daughter was the center of much discussion in recent days after talk radio host Alex Reimer called her "an annoying little pissant" after watching the first episode of "Tom vs. Time." Reimer has been suspended from his job at WEEI and Brady has said he is reevaluating his weekly in-season appearances on the radio station.

The episode's remaining release schedule is as follows: episode four on Thursday, Feb. 1 and episode five on Sunday, Feb. 4. The release date for the sixth and final episode has not been disclosed yet.

In announcing the project, Brady said he has been thinking about doing something like this for a long time, and the opportunity came up to partner with Facebook and Chopra.

"I think we captured something special in this and I am proud of the entire team of people who worked hard to make it happen," he said. "The docu-series is intimate, in-depth and more personal than anything I've released on my social channels, so I think it will be a great way of extending my reach to people on Facebook Watch."

Chopra said the goal of the project "was to understand the anatomy of that greatness" Brady has exhibited on the field over the past 18 seasons.

The Patriots will play the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LII on Sunday, Feb. 4 at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis as the team continues its quest for a sixth Super Bowl championship.
