Her tenure in American local news follows a three-year stint in Asian television, which includes anchoring for ESPN Asia in Singapore, guest hosting for MTV Asia and appearing in a Malaysian reality television series. Joy’s anchoring for ESPN Asia was broadcast live to more than 24 countries from the network's headquarters in Singapore.
Joy proudly volunteers in the local community, serving as a committee member for the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center and supporting the local MSPCA.
