Harvard names Stanford professor as new head of Kennedy School

Harvard has named an alumnus and Stanford professor as the next dean of its John F. Kennedy School of Government.

Jeremy M. Weinstein will succeed Douglas W. Elmendorf, the dean since 2016. His appointment will take place July 1, Harvard announced Monday.
