A woman has been taken to the hospital with serious injuries following a shooting in Boston's Hyde Park neighborhood on Friday.
Police responded to Business Street shortly after 10 p.m. where a female was found shot in the head, authorities confirmed.
The woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
People who live in the area say they’re surprised to see this kind of violence in their neighborhood.

“Honestly pretty surprising… really quiet neighborhood…walked out saw the lights and were like woah what’s happening? And then the next thing I know something happened,” said Edward Velazquez.
No arrests have been made.
The incident is under investigation.
