More than a dozen people were rescued from the water after a boat caught fire in Scituate, Massachusetts on Tuesday afternoon.
The U.S. Coast Guard said the fire broke out at Scituate Harbor Marina. Thirteen people entered the water and were picked up by another boater.
Fire officials said the 13 people were taken to South Shore Hospital for burns and smoke inhalation. None of the injuries were said to be life-threatening.
The fire has been extinguished, the Coast Guard said. Aerial footage from the scene showed the entire boat covered in what appears to be white firefighting foam at a boat launch or landing area.
The Coast Guard said it is on scene enforcing a safety zone on the water. Scituate fire and the Scituate harbormaster were also on scene.
