MLB Rumors: Red Sox Among ‘Most Aggressive' Teams Looking for Bullpen Trades

It's no secret the Red Sox need to acquire a reliever at the MLB Trade Deadline on July 31, and they've had reported interest in several of the top targets.

From Edwin Diaz and Shane Greene to Daniel Hudson, Kirby Yates and Ken Giles, Boston has seemingly been linked to every relief man out there.

According to Mark Feinsand, the Red Sox are one of the most aggressive teams in baseball looking for bullpen help along with the Nationals, Cubs and Dodgers.

The Red Sox offense has been one of the best in the league, led by Xander Bogaerts and Rafael Devers, and could use the help from a consistent starting rotation and bullpen to hold the leads they build.

There was some thought that the Red Sox could be sellers at the Trade Deadline thanks some inconsistent play against lesser teams, but it appears Dave Dombrowski is ready to swing big again. That has to be good news for Red Sox fans who were hoping for a big move or two to help their team defend their World Series title.
