It was the moment the New England Patriots played for and fans prayed for: a sixth victory parade through the streets of Boston Tuesday after the team beat the Los Angeles Rams in Atlanta in Super Bowl LIII.

While tens of thousands of fans lined the streets, a parade pumping red, white, and blue confetti pulsated through the city.

"It was surreal," said Patriots defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr.

When the players got off the duck boats at the end of the rolling rally, they were met with more smiling, screaming fans.

Patriots offensive tackle Marcus Cannon took off his Super Bowl rings and handed them to young fans to try on.

"This is my third one," said Cannon. "It's the most fans I've ever seen."

Fans blanketed the city's streets wearing their Patriots gear.

"All that focus, all that concentration, working hard, all that paid off," said Patriots defensive end Trey Flowers.

The parade was about celebrating the team and the fans who stood by them all season.

"Through it all, they supported us," said Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore. "They stuck with us and I'm happy to be a Patriot."
