A boat went onto a jetty off the coast of Cape Cod Friday evening.
The boat hit the rocks on Vineyard Sound before making its way to a boat yard in Mashpee, Massachusetts, according to fire officials in that town.
The Coast Guard said that six people were on board the 32-foot boat at the time, adding that its crews were not able to access the site of the incident.
Fire officials said those on the boat were checked out and that one person was expected to be transported after complaining of an injury.
As the incident was determined to have happened within Falmouth's waters, police in that town are handling the investigation.
