Chain-Reaction Crash in O'Neill Tunnel Caught on Video

Minor damage was sustained in the incident

A chain-reaction crash was captured on camera when five cars crashed in Boston’s O’Neill Tunnel on Monday.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said the incident happened at about 2:30 p.m. on I-93 northbound. Surveillance footage from the tunnel shows numerous cars coming to a halt, followed by vehicles in the left lane hitting one another.

State police said minor damage was sustained in the incident. Injuries were not immediately available.
