A driver sustained life-threatening injuries following a single-car crash in Hanson, Massachusetts.
According to police, the 22-year-old man was speeding on Route 27 around 1 a.m. Saturday when his car rolled over several times. The man, who was the only person in the car, was ejected from his car.
Responding officers found him in a nearby parking lot with severe, life-threatening injuries, police said. He was transported to South Shore Hospital. His exact condition is not known at this time.
Police briefly shut down a part of Route 27 early Saturday where the crash occured.
An initial investigation suggests that the driver was traveling at a high rate of speed eastbound on Main Street when the 2004 Chevy Trailblazer left the road and rolled over several times.
The crash remains under investigation.
