Serious Crash Causes Delays on I-95 in Georgetown

A single-vehicle crash with serious injuries caused delays Thursady evening on Interstate 95 in Georgetown, Massachusetts, according to state police.

The crash happened on the northbound side of the highway near exit 54B. The exit was closed for a while but has since reopened.

State police said at the time to expect "extensive delays" while the area was temporarily closed for the investigation.

Debris could be seen all over the scene, as well as a car damaged on the sides, back and roof.

It's unclear how many people were injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
