Man Arrested After Allegedly Exposing Himself on Beach

The man is accused of exposing himself to a group of women on Nantasket Beach Monday

A man who allegedly exposed himself on Nantasket Beach Monday afternoon has been arrested.

Michael Fitzgerald, 28, of Quincy, Massachusetts, was arrested Tuesday, police in Hull said. He allegedly exposed himself to two women in the area of Alden Street and Beach Avenue.

The flashing was reported to police at 4:10 p.m. Monday afternoon, according to a statement from the Hull Police Department. Officers who responded to the beach were unable to locate the man.

A witness provided a photo of the man to police, who asked the public to help identify him. Fitzgerald was arrested around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at his Quincy home.

Fitzgerald faces a felony charge of open and gross lewdness. He was released on $2,040 bail and is due to be arraigned in Hingham District Court Wednesday.

It was not immediately clear if Fitzgerald had an attorney.
