Iron Furnace in Quincy Is Closing

A restaurant and bar in Quincy is shutting down after being in business for a couple of years.

According to sources, Iron Furnace on Hancock Street in the downtown area of the city is getting ready to close, with a post on the Quincy Is Everything Facebook group page mentioning what we had heard earlier today--that one final comedy show (Unscene Comedy) will be taking place there tonight before the doors shut for good at the end of business hours on Thursday. More details as to why the dining and drinking spot is shuttering are coming out shortly, so stay tuned for updates.

Iron Furnace first opened in September of 2015, moving into the space where a location of Stadium Sports Bar and Grill had been. The restaurant focused mainly on classic and modern American fare along with craft beers and cocktails.
