Authorities say a 31-year-old woman was found dead with a dog leash tied around her neck in her Massachusetts home and her live-in boyfriend is facing a murder charge after he was found in New Hampshire hours later.
Thirty-two-year-old Ryan Power was arraigned Thursday on charges of murder, strangulation and assault and battery on a household or family member in the death of Leah Penny. He ordered to be held without bail.

The victim was found unresponsive in her home on Lebanon Street in Malden at 9:49 a.m. Wednesday; her 1- and 2-year-old children were found unharmed upstairs, according to a Middlesex county prosecutor. Police said Power had left the home on Tuesday night after an altercation with the victim.
He was found Wednesday afternoon in Seabrook, New Hampshire, and arrested as a fugitive from justice.
It could not immediately be determined if Power had a lawyer.
