A teenager was shocked after falling while climbing a structure at a Massachusetts substation, according to authorities.
Plymouth fire officials said the call came in around 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The teen was found conscious and alert. His current condition is unknown at this time.
No other details about the incident were immediately available.
An Eversource spokesperson said the company is investigating the incident and are keeping the teen and his family in their thoughts.
"We can't emphasize strongly enough that high voltage power lines and electrical substations can be hazardous, which is why we implore everyone to stay away from them," the spokesperson said in a statement.
