Red Sox Fans Have the Opportunity to Sign Card and Say #ThanksPapi

Fans will be able to sign a card and take photos with a giant "34"

Red Sox fans will have the opportunity to say #ThanksPapi to David Ortiz ahead of his final regular season series at Fenway Park.

The team will take a giant "34" around Boston Thursday and Friday where fans can take photos and sign a giant card to show their appreciatiation for the player.

Fans are also encouraged to post their well-wishes on social media using the hashtag #ThanksPapi.

The 34 will be making stops at the Prudential Center from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. and Boston Common from 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m on Thursday.

On Friday the 34 will stop at Faneuil Hall from 8:30 until 2:30 p.m. and the Public Market from 2:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. 

The Sox also have another special treat for fans. They have put Ortiz's famous pose in the grass on the Fenway Park field.

If you want to be part of the celebrations for Big Papi being held before all three games this weekend - the team urges you to get to Fenway early.

The gates will open two hours prior to each game.

Friday night and Saturday you should be in your seat by 6:30 p.m. The game starts at 7:10 p.m.

For Sunday's game your asked to get to the park by 1 p.m. and be in your seat by 2 p.m.
