Sam Adams ‘Launches' a Ride-Share App for Beer Lovers

Jim Koch has been working on a special project for a couple years, and it's finally ready to see the light of day. Introducing BREWBR, "the first transportation service that combines Americans' love for ride-sharing with their love of craft beer."

The app gets you to where you need to go but with a convenient stop for beer along the way. All drivers are certified beer experts and "know how to park the car in Harvard Yard," the company says. And yes, this is more certainly an April Fool's joke.

“We know there are plenty of options when people are trying to get somewhere, but BREWBR offers consumers an exclusive opportunity to do more than just get from point A to point B,” says Sam Adams Founder and Brewer Jim Koch. “At Sam Adams we’ve been innovating with beer for more than 30 years, so jumping into the tech world as our next venture felt like a natural progression for the company.”

The imaginary app can be imaginary downloaded on iOS and Android beginning at the not-at-all suspicious date of April 1.

The witty promo below, featuring Jim "Cock" himself, is still worth checking out:
