Sillari's Pizza in Malden Has Closed

by Marc Hurwitz

A highly-rated pizzeria whose partners included a butcher shop owner has quietly closed.

A message sent from musician and radio host/consultant Michael Scott Stewart indicates that Sillari's Pizza in Malden is no longer in business, with a Facebook post seeming to confirm this, saying that the Medford Street shop has indeed shut down. The takeout pizzeria first opened in the spring of 2016, with Michael Dulock of M.F. Dulock Pasture-Raised Meats in Somerville and New England Culinary Institute graduate Scott Sillari being behind it. Sillari's was known in part for its customizable brick-oven pizzas with a marinara or pesto base and a variety of toppings offered.

The address for this now-closed pizza shop in Malden was: Sillari's Pizza, 97 Medford Street, Malden, MA, 02148.
