A man has been arrested and charged in connection to a stabbing.
According to Worcester police, they responded a reported stabbing in the area of 528 Pleasant Street in Worcester, Massachusetts at about 5:15 p.m. Friday.
When officers arrived on scene, they met firefighters from the Worcester Fire Department who said they were returning from a call when they saw two men fighting in the back parking lot of the Gulf gas station. The firefighters told police they saw one man stab the other and leave the scene in a black BMW. The victim also fled the area.
Officers were able to locate the BMW at the intersection of Piedmont Street and Austin Street. They signaled the operator to stop, and it did so at Pleasant Street by West Street.
According to police, the detectives approached the car and noticed that the driver was acting "extremely nervous." The detectives saw evidence in the car that supported their suspicions that the driver was involved in the fight.
Detectives identified the driver as Brian Noboa, 20, of 311 Lincoln Street.
When detectives searched Noboa, they found a folding knife, police said.

Officers at the scene spoke with witnesses who said that the victim, a 35-year-old man, had walked into the emergency room of one of the local hospitals.
Detectives went to the hospital and spoke with the victim. They learned that he had suffered a serious stab wound to one of his extremities and would need surgery.
Witnesses at the scene were also able to positively identify Noboa, police said.
Noboa was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
He will be arraigned on Monday at the Worcester County District Courthouse.
It is unclear if he has an attorney.
